Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Jr. Controls Engineer. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for custom material handling equipment. You will work closely with senior engineers and team members to ensure the systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and develop in a collaborative environment. You may be working on up to 15 projects simultaneously, each at different stages. You will act as a liaison between mechanical and project engineers, adapting projects to customer specifications. This technically challenging role offers a wide variety of work, as no two machines are the same.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and programming of PLC systems.
Develop and implement HMI.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Participate in the testing and commissioning of control systems.
Maintain documentation for control systems and processes.
Qualifications
1+ year of PLC troubleshooting experience, programming capabilities preferred
Proficient with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs
Familiar with HMIs and other automation components
Proficient in electrical panel design
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
