Job Overview
The role of the Warehouse Associate IV – Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing daily outbound orders to meet customer demand. The Warehouse Associate VI – Lead Clerk is responsible for working with customer service, sales, and distribution management to ensure high priority and emergency shipments are executed to service our customer at an exceedingly elevated level. This role is responsible for ensuring all internal compliance requirements are complete for incoming shipments such as document repository and End of Quarter checklist.
A Day In The Life
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety and security of all employees.
Work closely with Transportation and Shipping teams to evaluate truck loads, fill expedite request, and/or change routing
Generate shipment paperwork (Bill of Laden, Export Documents, etc.) for all non nonstandard shipments
Enter AES
Prepare shipping quotes for customers as directed by customer service.
Develop, analyze, modify and execute the release plan to predetermine ship schedules are met for all customers while maintaining a level workload of activity
Prioritize daily schedule and create reports as needed to monitor, track and measure performance at all levels.
Work closely with Inventory teams to ensure inventory integrity.
Monitor and respond to email and phone calls in a timely manner.
Prioritize tasks along with supervisors/leads to ensure orders are complete in the proper priority and order.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
Review and resolve outbound error log daily.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Five (5) years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required.
Three (3) years’ experience in Shipping Clerk role required
Strong working knowledge of SAP.
Strong data entry and profiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day.

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
