Job Title: Aircraft Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter with experience painting Boeing 737s. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:30pm. Some Saturdays and Sundays may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality painting on aircraft, including VIP, Corporate, Gulf Stream, and Citation models.

  • Apply spray, prime, single, and clear coat paint using paint guns (HVLP and electrostatic).

  • Conduct overall stripping and preparation of aircraft, including masking, sanding, glazing, and preparation of stripes before painting.

  • Layout and apply logos, numbers, placards, and details on aircraft.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in painting aircraft.

  • Proficiency in spray, prime, single, and clear coat paint application.

  • Experience with paint guns (HVLP and electrostatic).

  • Skills in overall stripping, masking, sanding, and preparation of aircraft for painting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with VIP, Corporate, Gulf Stream, and Citation aircraft is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role is based in a corporate and government MRO facility with strict dress code requirements. The work environment includes non-climate/temperature controlled hangars with multiple business jets and government aircraft. The dress code includes neatly trimmed facial hair, black shoes, black work pants (Dickies style), and appropriate shirts and hats provided by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
