Robert Half Tax & Accounting Manager in Arlington, Tennessee
Description
We are partnering with a client offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax & Accounting Manager in Arlington, Tennessee, United States. In this role, you will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations within our organization. You will take on the responsibility of preparing financial statements, closing accounts, and ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and applicable regulations for financial and tax reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit information
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Prepare monthly financial statements and present them to management with comprehensive analysis
• Perform closing of accounts periodically using the SAP system
• Resolve complex problems and collaborate with key departments such as purchasing, planning, and production
• Take on the responsibility of governance and internal control compliance
• Lead all audits including external, internal, and tax audits
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
• Prepare essential documents for tax filing
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a tax and accounting management role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions.
• Proven expertise in Auditing and Financial Audit procedures.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP.
• Experience with Tax Audits is required.
• Skilled in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis.
• Demonstrated ability in Annual Financial Reporting.
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds and IFRS Accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP Accounting, US GAAP.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing Monthly Statements.
• Proven experience in Monthly Financial Reports and Monthly Financial Statements.
• Ability to manage Monthly Financials and Monthly Financial Reporting.
