Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia
Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a large volume of invoices, ensuring precision and efficiency in our financial operations. You will also be expected to use our ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system, specifically NetSuite, to manage accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities:
• Review a high volume of invoices in detail, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
• Use NetSuite to efficiently manage and process invoices.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Respond to any inquiries or issues related to accounts payable in a timely and detail oriented manner.
• Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
• Aim for improvement in all accounting functions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Ensure all financial data is prepared and ready for any audits or reviews.
Requirements • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is required.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Practical experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in using financial software and databases.
