Accounting- Reconcile revenue booked in various internal operational systems to university accounting records (DEFINE). Assist with maintenance of the departmental financial coding structure needed to reconcile. Process intradepartmental transfers, revenue and expense corrections, and other accounting entries. Reporting- Produce and support various financial reports in support of Academic Affairs units. This includes centralized software billback efforts, course programming reports, revenue and expense share reports, and ad hoc analysis and reports. Communicate with College, School, Units (CSU) contacts regarding documentation, information, and questions. Assist and respond to financial inquiries from Academic Affairs units, and other University back offices. As a Data Analysis and Metrics team member, you will provide feedback on developing and maintaining key measures, dashboards, and associated reportingAsset Management- Responsible for the annual inventory certification process by assisting and locating all tagged assets across the portfolio's units. Maintain documents of record for inventory, process asset transfers, and surplus equipment as necessary. Answer questions regarding inventory requirements and maintain annual computer refresh cycles. Primary contact with LAITS for computer, equipment, and any inventory assistance. Support- Provide backup support for departmental deposits and payment request functions, transactions, documentation, purchasing, and travel. Ensure appropriate application of all departmental and University policies and procedures across Academic Affairs units to remain in compliance. Team Collaboration- Participate as an integral member of the CBS team, collaborating on procedures, initiatives and goals in the areas of deposits, payments, accounting, inventory, and reporting. Collaborate with team to designate long and short-term duties and goals within CBS team. Other related duties as assigned.
