McLane Northeast located in Baldwinsville, NY is looking for full time Maintenance
Responsibilities - Rotate, plug in water batteries, make repairs to cables, take battery readings, change batteries in MHE equipment, paint equipment as needed. - Ensure that spare parts usage, inventory and work order actions are accurately tracked and documented according to Company policy. - Assist with DC maintenance requirements such as (but not limited to) refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting. - Maximize availability of all classes of batteries by managing charging cycles and battery rotation. - Perform inspections and cleaning; do specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage. - Develop a working knowledge of the required aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
Qualifications and Requirements - High school diploma or GED. - At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance. - At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment. - Able to read and understand electrical schematics. - Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations. - Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection. - Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
Work Hours - Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm start
Wage - Minimum starting rate $19.47 per hour/BOE
