Expected salary range of $156,600 to $174,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Initially, this role will be dedicated to our benefits administration optimization project as we transition to new vendor partners and identify and develop process improvements as part of our implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills in addition to experience in benefits administration. Post project implementation responsibilities include managing the administration of benefits for all health and welfare programs, defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans and flexible spend accounts. Manage third party providers responsible for administration to ensure adherence to contract and high-performance using metrics, benchmarks, SLA's and Customer Satisfaction Surveys. Interface as a strategic partner with Corporate Health and Benefits and HR by executing benefits seamlessly to all participants.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead the implementation of the benefits administration optimization project, ensuring a smooth transition to new vendor partners including the optimization of processes, data, and roles.
Collaborate with various departments, including HR, IT, as well as external partners, to ensure successful project execution.
Create an environment of open, honest dialogue; embrace feedback and varied perspectives; develop and nurture trusting partner relationships; and deliver on commitments.
Manage and strategically lead third party providers for all benefit offerings to ensure plan, legal and regulatory compliance and excellent service for all plan participants.
Manage and develop team talent to build plan knowledge, operations knowledge as well as consulting skills. Embody and instill a continuous process improvement mind-set at all levels of the organization.
Measure results through metrics, benchmarks and service level arrangements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from a 4-year program.
10 years' experience in benefits or service delivery discipline.
10 years' experience managing people and building teams.
Experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with benefits administration systems and vendor management.
Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with key managers, executives, internal customers (including active and retired plan participants) and third-party providers.
Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster culture of change.
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects, preferably in benefits administration.
PMP or other relevant project management certification.
Demonstrated business acumen, employee awareness, and ability to create value.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
