Responsibilities

Noblis MSD Fleet Introduction Project provides Precommissioning Support to ship'sProspective Commanding Officer, Executive Officer and Department Heads foradministrative and technical services.

Fleet Introduction work is performed in an integrated support team environment thatincludes government and Noblis MSD teams that work closely with PEO SHIPS,Supervisor of Shipbuilding and Repair, Shipbuilder, BUPERS, ISIC, Personnel SupportDetachments, Regional Support Offices and the ship's Crewmembers.

Candidate will provide Administrative Assistant support as follows:

  • Assist Personnel Lead with monitoring crew arrival in accordance with the CrewScheduling and Phasing Plan (CSPP).

  • Coordinate and resolve administrativediscrepancies, including enroute training associated with Permanent Change ofStation (PCS) and Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) travel orders directly withthe Bureau of Personnel (BUPERS) and other Navy units as required on behalfof ships force and PMS 339.

  • Support Temporary Duty order preparation and coordination.

  • Utilizing MP&T and NSIPS, track and create the following reports – Manning Summary, Personnel Status and Alpha Roster.

  • Ensure command screening is completed by ship’s force before receiving anindividual in NSIPS.

  • Coordinate with Pre-Com Detachment (NORVA OR SDIEGO) to ensure lossdates are entered into NSIPS at time of transfer.

  • Process all gains/transfers for supported ship's crews, completing all requireddata entry and attaching all supporting documentation into Salesforce forsubmission.

  • Assist members in initiating travel claims for liquidation of PCS orders; makeappropriate entries into NSIPS and other personnel data bases.

  • Assist Personnel Office in obtaining travel through SATO at PSD formembers departing on PCS orders.

  • Utilize web based programs such as NSIPS, MMPA, DTS, and otherPersonnel/Disbursing applications as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 2years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree.

  • Position requires an active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Experience in Database Management in order to support the Personnel/Traveldata bases.

  • Strong computer skills in the MS Office; including Outlook,Word, Excel and Access.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with NSIPS, MMPA, DTS and other Personnel/Disbursingapplications.

  • Experienced YN or PN desired, but not required

  • Effective written and oral communication skills are essential in this team

  • Customer/client experience

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

USD $20.91 - USD $32.67 /Hr.
