Amazon Program Manager II, Global Logistics, Business Operations in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Join Amazon's Global Logistics team as a launch Program Manager, driving major new logistics product launches for import and domestic transportation businesses. You'll lead cross-functional teams to implement strategic growth initiatives, ensuring successful geographic expansion of our freight forwarder product. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape the future of global logistics, working with diverse teams and senior leadership to deliver innovative solutions that enhance Amazon's transportation network.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans for launching in new countries

  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, to ensure tech and non-tech timelines are consistent, including finance, legal, operations, and marketing

  • Create and implement Go-To-Market strategies for new product launches

  • Manage stakeholder communications and provide regular updates to director-level leadership

  • Identify and mitigate risks across multiple interdependent workstreams

A day in the life

Your day might involve collaborating with business teams on new proposals, coordinating with partner teams on compliance solutions, aligning tech and program dependencies, and making strategic decisions to keep deliveries on track. You'll balance multiple priorities, from providing implementation guidance to developing pricing strategies and operational readiness plans.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
