What’s the job? -

  • Identifies internal and external resources to address gaps in skills and capabilities needed for the effective and efficient operation of the plant.-

  • Manages and teaches risk mitigation as it relates to employee and labor relations.-

  • Manage staffing and selection processes (including internal job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection decisions).- Work with local temporary staffing firms and colleges and universities to staff for peak production seasons--

  • Direct and oversee performance management systems and processes (annual reviews, one-on-one coaching, progressive discipline, investigations)-

  • Develop and implement and insure consistent application of employee and plant policies and procedures.--

  • Manages Employee Leave compliance programs, including FMLA, STD, and LTD-

  • Manage new hire onboarding and job training and certification processes.-

  • Lead, support, develop direct reports.- Develop short- and long-range objectives, work assignments, workload balancing, and accountabilities.-

What do you bring? -

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or related field-

  • 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing setting-

  • 5+ years of labor relations experience in a manufacturing setting--

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.-

  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis tools-

  • Proven track record in employee engagement and development initiatives-

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams-

Pay Transparency-

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $111,000 to $177,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650 to $203,550.
