Job Title: Production Operator - Nights

Job Description

The Production Line Operator is responsible for running a production line safely and efficiently. The Production Operator will be fully trained to run a full line, from dough mixing to tortilla packaging, and will be responsible for the overall performance of the line. This position plays an important role in our operations and has a direct impact on our company’s metrics. The responsibility and reward for each Operator is determined by the tier classification (T1, T2, and T3).

Responsibilities

  • Run a production line safely and efficiently.

  • Operate machinery from dough mixing to tortilla packaging.

  • Ensure the overall performance of the production line.

  • Maintain excellent quality standards.

  • Identify and analyze problems, and plan solutions.

  • Follow directions well and work independently within a team environment.

Essential Skills

  • Strong work ethic and reliability

  • Experience with food manufacturing

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with manufacturing equipment

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • High attention to detail

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Our SQF certified world-class facility is located in Caldwell, Idaho. For over 45 years, we have been manufacturing and supplying our customers with the highest quality products using the finest ingredients and time-tested formulations, manufacturing processes, and freezing techniques. Today, we produce about 5 million tortillas per day, employ over 300 full-time employees, and serve customers worldwide.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $29.00/hr.
