Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am to 3pm

Pay Rate: $36+ DOE

Location: Boise, ID.

Position Type: Full Time

The Project Construction Superintendent is responsible for project construction with a focus on labor productivity, performance of work per drawings and engineering specifications, schedule, and workmanship. The Superintendent provides verification of direct labor and material quantities installed, safety issues, and clarification between the Construction Trades and Engineering.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify field documents are current versions and revisions.

  • Track construction field progress versus the schedule and communicate concerns to PC’s and assist in the development of recovery or contingency plans if needed.

  • Coordinate field activities.

  • Verify work progress.

  • Coordinate with the needs of system or tool owners.

  • Ensure installed work complies with construction documents and meets quality standards.

  • Attend project meetings, field walks, and sign-off meetings.

  • Coordinate required city permit walks.

  • Expedite Critical RFI’s/ SCR’s and Submittals.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Facilities processes, systems, and technical challenges.

  • Knowledge of Construction materials properties, use, and installation.

  • 3 years of construction experience.

  • Knowledgeable and trained on construction safety topics.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environmental conditions.

  • Able to read and understand P&ID, shop drawings and cut sheets.

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

     

Preferences:

  • 2 years of working in a semiconductor environment.

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
