Bozeman Health Event Coordinator (FT- 1.0 FTE, Day Shift) in Bozeman, Montana
Position Summary:
The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events within the healthcare organization. This role focuses on logistical coordination, vendor management, and ensuring that all events run smoothly. The primary goal is to create well-structured and engaging events that enhance organizational outreach, staff engagement, and community involvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in event planning, logistics, and coordination.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization.
Essential Job Functions:
In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
Contribute to community sponsorship decisions, both evaluating incoming requests and pursuing opportunities that align with Bozeman Health’s mission and strategic priorities.
Plan, organize, and execute Bozeman Health’s engagement in community events, outreach programs, internal celebrations and events.
Plan, organize, and execute community events hosted by Bozeman Health, including but not limited to tours, open houses, and celebrations.
Manage all logistical aspects, including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, audio-visual setup, and event registration.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any on-site challenges.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team with event promotion.
Work alongside the System Manager of Communications to create event engagement goals, strategies, timelines, and budgets.
Collaborate interdisciplinarily to create lead generation lists.
Coordinate branded swag for internal and external events, and support branded swag and apparel ordering for employees.
Collect post-event feedback and analyze success metrics for continuous improvement.

Schedule Requirements:
This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases due to contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses.
