The Trailer Technician is an integral part of the Service Department team. This position is crucial in achieving customer satisfaction by applying high-level technical expertise to repair and maintain trailers. The Trailer Technician is responsible for completing repairs within the allotted time-frame.
Trailer Technician - Trailer Technician - Responsibilities and Duties
Trailer Technician is responsible for trailer maintenance, general repairs, brake repairs, electrical repairs, inspections, some fabrication and other duties as assigned.
Trailer Technician - Qualifications and Skills * Minimum of 2 years Heavy/Med trailer experience * High degree of product and technical knowledge * Ability to use a personal computer * Excellent follow-through, problem solving and organizational skills * Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills * Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer, and to performing required tasks accurately and professionally * Must conduct his/herself in a professional manner. * Must have the ability to work other shifts for coverage of sick days or vacation relief. * Valid New York State Drivers License * Must have own set of basic tools * CDL A - a plus
