As the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales & marketing initiatives to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and achieve business objectives.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to inform decision-making and drive innovation
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team sharing best practices, refining sales techniques, and ensuring the team is equipped for success
  • Drive sales growth through effective planning, execution of sales initiatives, and management of key customer relationships
  • Cultivate high-value relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expansion
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary
  • Oversee the marketing department, ensuring the creating of comprehensive marketing plans that effectively promote products and services
  • Manage brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies across various channels
  • Assess and optimize marketing campaigns to maximize ROI and engagement
  • Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company goals
  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support strategic initiatives
  • Track and report on sales and marketing performance against KPIs, using data to drive informed business decisions
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall performance

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of current sales & marketing trends, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to implement innovative sales & marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales work experience in a material handling dealership or OEM sales environment.
  • Proven experience (typically 15+ years) in sales and/or marketing roles with increasing levels of responsibility, including leadership experience.
  • Material Handling Industry experience
