Overview:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Inbound Coordinator to join our team. As an Inbound Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products into our warehouse and inventory system, helping us maintain efficient operations and meet the growing demand for our products.

Requirements

The Inbound Coordinator will oversee and manage the receipt, inspection, and processing of inbound shipments for consumer electronics products. This position ensures that all incoming goods are handled, tracked, and stored according to the company's policies and best practices. The Inbound Coordinator will work closely with vendors, suppliers, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure that product availability and inventory accuracy are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

The Inbound Coordinator will oversee and manage the receipt, inspection, and processing of inbound shipments for consumer electronics products. This position ensures that all incoming goods are handled, tracked, and stored according to the company's policies and best practices. The Inbound Coordinator will work closely with vendors, suppliers, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure that product availability and inventory accuracy are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt of inbound shipments from suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers

  • Verify the accuracy of shipments by checking product quantities, descriptions, and serial numbers against purchase orders and shipping documents

  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies, delays, or issues with shipments

  • Schedule and track inbound shipments to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries

  • Oversee the inspection of incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

  • Manage proper documentation and reporting for any damaged or defective items

  • Conduct thorough quality control checks for consumer electronics products upon receipt

  • Record and update product receipts and inventory levels in the inventory management system

  • Ensure accurate and timely stock movements, including goods received and inventory adjustments

  • Assist with stock organization in the warehouse to maximize space efficiency and product accessibility

  • Work closely with the logistics team, warehouse staff, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations and ensure timely order fulfillment

  • Maintain regular communication with the purchasing and operations teams to stay updated on incoming product shipments and delivery schedule

  • Liaise with external carriers and freight forwarders to resolve any transportation or delivery issues

  • Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments, inspection results, and any discrepancies for reporting purposes.

  • Assist in preparing reports on inbound logistics performance, including tracking delays and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines during the receiving and storage of products.

  • Adhere to industry-specific regulations and company policies concerning the handling of consumer electronics

  • Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize the inbound logistics workflow

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inbound logistics and contribute to team efforts aimed at increasing operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred

  • Previous experience in an inbound logistics or supply chain role, preferably within the consumer electronics industry

  • Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) or warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and shipments.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Basic knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and transportation procedures

  • Understanding of consumer electronics products and their handling requirements is a plus.
