The Job:
As a Senior Manager, Positive Employee Relations, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor Americas Supply Chain HR team working as a virtual employee. You’ll get to:
· Serve as a resource on employee relations issues, effectively communicate and explain policies, procedures, and practices across Mexico and identify opportunities to simplify how we work.
· Provide advice and counsel to site’s and field-based management in Mexico to develop programs in support of our strategy to “Evolve the Employee Experience”.
· Under the direction of the Employee Relations COE, monitor and investigate employee hotline claims across the Americas.
· Partner with site and regional leadership to recommend changes to union agreements, compensation & benefit offerings, communication cadences and company policies to be an employer of choice in the local market.
· Partner with Site HRMs on developing site engagement plans to evolve our employee experience.
· Expand and conduct annual Positive Employee Relations round tables across our operations in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
· Monitor proposed legislation changes in Mexico and Brazil impacting wages, work schedule, environment and communicate recommended actions to regional T&O leadership.
The Person:

· Bachelors required, JD preferred.
· Bilingual, English and Spanish required. Portages a plus.
· 7+ years related Employee Relations or Human Resources, Management, or Legal with an emphasis on employment issues
· Experience in a manufacturing environment
· Experience conducting investigations and managing difficult conversations utilizing conflict and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of Best practices and their applications
· Ability to use data analytics and recognize trends and propose intervention techniques
· Travel up to 30%
· Microsoft Office experience required
