Basic Purpose: The Final Quality Inspector is responsible for performing both pre- and post-production quality control inspections of all products manufactured by Taylor Power Systems. This role ensures that both incoming materials and finished products meet all specified quality standards. The position involves developing and maintaining comprehensive systems checklists and photographic documentation for each unit, while implementing quality strategies to improve the overall quality of received, stored, and finished items. The Final Quality Inspector ensures that the finished product fully complies with the bill of material specifications before it is approved for distribution.

Primary Accountabilities: • Develop and Implement Quality Management Strategy: Design and execute quality management plans that cover the full production process, ensuring adherence to all quality standards from receipt of materials to final delivery. • Create and Maintain Quality Control Checklists: Develop and maintain detailed checklists that establish clear standards for production activities, ensuring the final product meets customer order specifications and bill of materials. • Monitor Performance and Take Corrective Action: Continuously monitor performance according to established quality standards, taking appropriate actions when deviations occur. Advise production teams and help rectify any quality issues. • Inspect Finished Units for Conformance: Perform thorough inspections of all finished units to ensure they comply with the bill of material specifications, confirming that the units have no deficiencies prior to release for delivery to customers. • ; Maintain Database of Photographs and Checklists: Develop and maintain a photographic database for each completed unit. Ensure that final inspection checklists are filed by serial number for accurate record-keeping and future reference. • Establish Communication Strategies for Quality Awareness: Implement and maintain effective communication strategies to promote awareness of quality issues across the production floor and parts storage. Encourage continuous quality improvements and collaboration. • Conduct Final "Nuts and Bolts" Inspection: Perform the final "nuts and bolts" inspection of each unit to ensure all components, including electrical connections, fasteners, and decals, are correctly installed. Verify fluid levels and other essential details and resolve any issues before signing off the unit for delivery. • Additional Tasks as Requested: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager to support the overall quality progra m, including participating in audits, assisting with supplier quality issues, and engaging in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education or certification in quality control is a plus. • Previous experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues. • Excellent organizational and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection tools.
