Seeking 120 Temp/FT positions in the following counties: Colorado: El Paso, Pueblo, Teller, Fremont, Douglas, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Elbert | Job Duties: Installation, maintenance, and repair landscape workers are responsible for creating and maintaining outdoor environments through landscaping, gardening, and hardscaping tasks. Their duties include installing new plants, trees, shrubs, and grass; constructing features such as walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds; and maintaining landscapes by mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and irrigating. They may also repair systems like irrigation or lighting and ensure that landscapes are healthy and visually appealing. Prepare the ground for planting by tilling, grading, and conditioning the soil, install sod, grass seed, trees, shrubs, and other plant materials, install irrigation systems, lighting, and drainage to ensure the landscape functions efficiently. Mow, edge, and trim lawns, hedges, and trees to maintain aesthetics and health, fertilize and apply pesticides to control weeds, pests, and diseases, prune plants and trees to promote growth and shape them according to the design plan. Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including raking leaves, picking up litter, and keeping walkways clear. Diagnose and repair issues with irrigation systems, including broken pipes, clogged sprinklers, and malfunctioning controllers, fix drainage problems by adjusting terrain or installing proper drainage systems, maintain and repair landscape tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and efficient to use. With the growing interest in sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces, demand for installation, maintenance, and repair workers remains steady. These workers contribute to the beautification of communities and private spaces, and their skills are essential for maintaining healthy and functional landscapes. Dates of need: 2025-04-01 to 2025-11-30 | # of regular hours guaranteed per week: 35 | Mon-Fri poss Sat | 07:00 - 05:00 | Lift and sustain 50 lbs | No ed./exp. required. OTJ training available. Starting wage $21.35 p/hr. to $35.00 p/hr. Poss. Background Check, poss. Drug Screening, all post hire. Poss. OT starting from $32.03 p/hr. to $52.50 p/hr. A single workweek is used to compute wages due, paid weekly. Poss. raises, bonuses, or incentives dependent on tenure w/company, experience, or job performance. All deductions from the workers' paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide workers at n/c all tools, supplies & equip. required to perform the job. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa and border crossing fees, in-bound transportation, daily subsistence and hotel costs from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer to employer's place of business. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation & daily subsistence to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/another employer. The employer is responsible for paying inbound transportation costs in the first workweek of employment to the extent that shifting such costs to the employees (either directly or indirectly) would effectively not bring the workers' wages below the FLSA minimum wage. Employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to groups of H-2B or U.S. workers or will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. The remainder of inbound transportation, meals, and hotel ex enses to be reimbursed to the worker at the 50% point of the contract. As per FLSA requirements, daily meal subsistence is paid. Outbound transportation and subsistence will be provided/paid by the employer where the worker completes the work contract period, or is terminated without cause, and no subsequent H-2B employment is available. Employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to groups of H-2B or U.S. workers or will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved at the end of the contract or worker termination date. Other deductions from employees pay: All deductions required by law will be deducted from workers' pay. Employer offered benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO.
