Robert Half Project Manager in Concord, North Carolina
Description We are offering a permanent contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the manufacturing industry at our location in Concord, North Carolina. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources. You will also be responsible for interacting with commercial customer resources, maintaining an understanding of the shop and installation capabilities, and managing submittals for stamped engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall scope of assigned projects, ensuring all elements are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Facilitate effective handoffs from the sales team, collaborating with the Art Department as necessary to ensure drawings are compliant for production use.
• Build communicative relationships with clients and municipalities, coordinating changes to orders as needed.
• Understand and work within the shop and installation capabilities, determining the sourcing of needs in collaboration with operations management.
• Identify external needs and select appropriate vendor support when necessary.
• Coordinate and direct location surveys for customers, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Process documentation and payment authorizations for outsourced items as required.
• Manage permit applications and ensure compliance to code, making necessary changes as needed.
• Oversee submittals for stamped engineering, coordinating contract banners or signage as required.
• Create comprehensive work orders, including all necessary documentation and specifications, and distribute work order packets for production and assembly. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for effective execution of tasks.
• Familiarity with Costpoint software is required to streamline project management.
• Experience with Deltek is necessary for efficient management of enterprise resources.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision is needed to enhance project planning and tracking.
• Proficiency in 'About Time' software is required for effective time and project management.
• Understanding of all Accounting Functions is crucial for accurate financial reporting.
• Experience with managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary to maintain financial health of the project.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is required to ensure smooth cash flow.
