Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Coon Rapids and Andover, MN. From: 04/04/2025 to 11/24/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00am - 5:00pm. The start and end of the workday depend on crop and weather conditions, which means work may begin or end earlier or later than usual. Evening and/or night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need. Workers are not allowed to begin work before the scheduled start time or continue after the scheduled stop time. Must Apply By: 07/31/2025 JOB DUTIES: Workers will perform any of the following duties: prepare soil for sod installation in lawns, (dig, rake and level soil and install sod) shrubs, trees, dirt, mulch and rock at jobsite. Operate equipment used in forming at the sod fields, loading trucks, delivering and installation of the sod (skidsters, forklifts, tractors and trucks) Field work that involves cutting/mowing and established grass. Maintain farm equipment and farm buildings and properties, cut & load sod onto trucks and trailers and drive truck to deliver products to customers and/or installation sites. The vehicles workers may drive are less than 26,001 GVW, any deliveries would be within Anoka or Washington counties and no more than 25 miles from headquarters Thirty-minute meal break. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time) Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB REQUIREMENTS: No experience required, employer will train; clean driving record; employment reference; must be able to lift 50 lbs. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
