Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a data-driven individual to join our team as a pipeline analyst to propel our efforts within critical categories. In this role, you will partner closely with both our larger strategy team and business segments, playing a pivotal role in shaping our company's inorganic growth trajectory by (i) understanding technology and emerging trends in-depth, (ii) analyzing players within varying technology domains (iii) producing compelling ecosystems that inform strategic direction.

You will navigate the ever-evolving technology landscape, crafting persuasive stories through data that shape our strategic acquisition pipeline for the future.

Essential Objectives:

  • Dive deep into specific technology segments, wielding market research and data analysis tools to unearth strategic gems.

  • Identify and analyze emerging trends and disruptive technologies, crafting compelling narratives that predict their impact on our business.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, painting a vivid picture of potential acquisition targets and the ecosystems they inhabit.

  • Leverage your findings to curate compelling technology landscapes, informing strategic decision-making with a data-driven, story-powered approach.

  • Maintain a relentless curiosity, staying ahead of the curve with the latest advancements and market fluctuations.

  • Evaluate the competitive landscape, identify potential acquisition targets, and assess their strategic fit.

  • Craft clear, concise, and insightful reports that showcase your findings, weaving data into persuasive narratives.

  • Collaborate with team members, providing vital insights and contributing to developing data-driven acquisition strategies.

  • Track industry trends through continuous learning and participation in relevant conferences and workshops, fostering a thirst for knowledge.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical discipline (a plus)

  • 1-2 years of experience in a research or data analysis role (prior private equity, investment banking, or venture capital experience a significant plus).

  • Proficiency in data analysis that results in concise, actionable insight as a result

  • A strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $99,000 to $178,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
