ManpowerGroup Noise Vibration Engineer in Cupertino, California
Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Noise Vibration Engineer to join their team. As a Noise Vibration Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various multi-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a creative problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Noise Vibration Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA
What's the Job?
Author SOPs, test plans, and specifications for low-level noises.
Quantify noises and facilitate user studies to establish thresholds in lab and factory environments.
Educate multi-functional teams to implement known standard methodologies and run studies to learn new best practices.
Lead validation work analysis to understand root causes of various problems.
Collaborate closely with partner facilities overseas.
What's Needed?
Fundamental knowledge of how voltage potential and current can lead to vibration.
Understanding of acoustics and vibration principles, including how mechanical motion turns into radiated noise.
Good grasp of magnetics and force generation in complex magnetic environments.
Experience with acoustic and vibration measurement in anechoic/hemi-anechoic chambers.
Ability to learn new coding languages and navigate datasets.
