Job Title: Journeyman Pipefitter
Job Description
A pipefitter installs, maintains, and repairs piping systems for various applications, including heating, cooling, water, steam, and chemical transport, often in industrial and commercial settings. Pipefitters install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring proper connections and alignment. They may fabricate piping systems by cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes and fittings.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for heating, cooling, water, steam, and chemical transport.
Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure proper connections and alignment of piping systems.
Fabricate piping systems by cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes and fittings.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform PLC troubleshooting and electrical work as needed.
Install and program PLCs, including Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
Install machinery and work with Fanuc robots, photoeyes, and servo drives.
Essential Skills
2-3+ years of industrial pipefitting experience.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical work.
Welding experience.
Familiarity with machine installation and Fanuc robots.
Experience with photoeyes, Allen Bradley PLCs, servo drives, and Siemens PLCs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeymen's card preferred but not required.
Candidate should have basic tools required for pipefitting.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, well-lit environment on a 1st shift schedule. Some odd hours may be required depending on day-to-day operations.

This is a Contract position based out of DE PERE, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
