ManpowerGroup External Funding Specialist in Deerfield, Illinois
Our client, a leader in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries, is seeking an External Funding Specialist to join their team. As an External Funding Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic department supporting critical research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: External Funding Specialist
Location: Deerfield, IL (ONSITE)
What's the Job?
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and oversight of the internal decision-making review meetings for external funding.
Facilitates the execution of grant agreements including input for contract negotiation.
Manages external funding budgets across assigned therapeutic areas.
Responsible for planning, tracking, and managing payments according to execution of contractual milestones.
Accountable for ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
3-7 years of experience in grants management, research funding, or budgeting within healthcare.
Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills required.
Experience with Investigator Initiated Research, including budgeting, preferred.
Knowledge of external funding best practices, preferred.
