Kemin Industries IT Help Desk Support Analyst in Des Moines, Iowa
Overview
Kemin is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Analyst to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa! This position provides customer support and maintenance within the corporate computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading various types of equipment and PC hardware and software to ensure optimal performance. This role will also troubleshoot problem areas in person, by telephone, via email, and remote desktop in a timely and accurate fashion while providing customer assistance as required.
This position is required to work onsite at our Des Moines Headquarters location.

Responsibilities
Handle incoming requests from customers via call, portal, email, or in person.
Maintain proper documentation and organization of their assigned tickets.
Install, configure, test and troubleshoot customer equipment, including but not limited to computers, monitors, hard drives, laptops, printers, and phone equipment.
Install all types of software on various devices.
Identify recurrent problems and help customers resolve them.
Collaborate with Network Administrators and other IT personnel to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
Prepare and ship computer equipment to remote offices.
Recommend documentation or procedures for installations or other job related items.
Collaborate with other IT teams globally.
Research, understand, participate, and contribute to the goals and mission of the IT department and Kemin as a whole.
Continually present a positive and professional example for the IT team and Kemin.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree with 2-4 years of experience OR
Associates degree with 3-5 years of experience OR
High School Diploma with 7-10 years of experience
High-level customer service skills.
Self starter, customer oriented, and a team player.
Strong communication skills.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Experience with active directory administration.
Experience with help desk ticketing software.
Able to work well independently and as a team.
Follow and uphold company standards.
Proficient with Windows 10 and/or 11 operating systems.
Proficient with all Microsoft applications within the Office 365 suite.
Proficient with PC hardware and PC imaging technologies.
Ability to train users at different skill levels.
Experience with networking and connectivity.
Travel up to 10%.
