Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, S&OP
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst 2, S&OP is a specialist who drives innovation and operational excellence by aligning the planning, operations, and sales teams within Niagara. He/she works across the full breadth and scale of Niagara’s supply chain, products, manufacturing and technologies to help create solutions that solve business and customer’s supply chain objectives. This role helps provide recommendations on capex planning and inventory and production strategy.
Essential Functions
Strategic Planning (assist with the following by providing solutions to support):
Master Planning
Develop, drive, and implement aggregate master schedules that optimize product availability, batch strategy, and inventory policy
Strategic Capacity planning
Growth/expansion capacity planning (domestic + international)
Network Planning
Executing annual capacity expansion planning calendar
Technical – Good with systems, and a strong database skillset (Access/SQL) and Excel background is required. Understanding technology and IT limitations is critical in managing improvement projects.
Ability to learn existing IT tools at Niagara quickly
Good knowledge of leveraging technical information for data collection
Basic understanding of supply chain optimization including Network flow optimization, Inventory Optimization and Facility Planning
Demand & Supply Planning Technology
Setup, customization & solution validation of various modules
Continuous improvement and automation to meet business rules/needs
Work with Solution Architect to setup data integrity policies & procedures
Collaboration
Inter-Departmental Collaboration:
Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders on CAPEX Projects
Transportation and Logistics supplier bid event support
Network design & strategic inventory build design
Monitor KPI’s and Metrics to drive performance management with key stakeholders
Special Projects
Long term capacity planning and capex recommendations
Review new plants/new lines requirements for subsequent years and run model/scenarios for comparative analysis

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years – Experience in Planning, MRP, Procurement, Logistics, Finance or similar function
*experience may include a combination of work experience and education
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years – Experience in Planning, MRP, Procurement, Logistics, Finance or similar function
*experience may include a combination of work experience and education
- Travels approximately 10%
Competencies
Resourceful in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining.
Experience with Supply chain planning technologies like JDA, Logility, Oracle ASCP, etc.
Experience with Supply chain optimization tools such as LogicNetPlus, Supply Chain Guru, IPFA, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis using formulas, pivot tables, power queries, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience utilizing Tableau or other data visualization tools
Ability to Multi-task and Prioritize
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent Communication skills. Able to effectively communicate and present complex technical subjects.
Access/SQL database skills
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
Strong verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Must be able to work well under pressure in a very fast paced environment
Education
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain or other science / math related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain or other science / math related field, or equivalent work experience
Certification/License:

$69,575.00 - $100,883.75 / Yearly
