JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sr Manager Sourcing - Knits - SRMAN005879 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Summary As a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing you will have category responsibility as the key driver of the sourcing strategy and product development process from initial concept to on-time delivery. You will develop and implement strategies with the team that will maximize revenue, gross margin and GMROI. As the driver of the global sourcing strategy in your category, you will allocate and strategize to deliver margin and quality while ensuring design and brand aesthetics are met. You will also serve as a mentor and program/process leader within the team to ensure best in class outcomes including but not limited to staffing models, efficiency standards and employee review process. If requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.) * Participate in developing the Strategic Sourcing Strategy that supports corporate initiatives. * Own the execution of the footwear product development and sourcing strategies while serving as the primary contact between Design, Merchant, Planning and Suppliers. * Collaborate with LE Asia Merchandising and QC on identifying new factories and developing/training current vendors. * Identify product engineering opportunities through fabric, garment construction, vendor/mill or country alternatives to meet IMU and speed-to-market goal while keeping design and brand integrity. * Develop costing strategies and review final costs for all styles to meet IMU goal expectations. * Drive product development timelines to ensure calendar deliverables and dates are being met. * Own demand planning with supply chain to ensure capacities meet volume forecasts * Identify and implement opportunities to reduce lead-times and support chase strategies * Initiate seasonal hindsight\'s with Sr Directors to align on supply chain category strategies * Mentor and lead others to the outcomes of the above (coaching, leading, technical training). * Must follow all safe work practices, escalate unsafe conditions and report incidents.
