As an essential part of our department, you will support day-to-day operations while ensuring an exceptional experience for students, guests, and university staff.\ \ Key Responsibilities:\
- Supervise food production and service to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Train, orient, and manage team members, fostering a collaborative environment while preparing them for future responsibilities.
- Schedule staff to meet the needs of the business, ensuring appropriate coverage during peak times.
- Monitor job performance and provide feedback to staff, offering both praise and corrective guidance when necessary.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, guests, and university personnel to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed expectations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering food and supplies in line with established specifications.
- Recommend product pricing and contribute to financial strategies that enhance sales and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records and conduct monthly inventories to track food and supply levels.
- Ensure cash handling and Point of Sale (P.O.S.) transactions are performed accurately and consistently.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from
the categories below:
- Coursework in business, dietetics, culinary arts, food science,
nutrition, hospitality, hotel, catering, restaurant, or
institutional management, or a closely related field as measured
by the following conversion table or its proportional
equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate\'s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor\'s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
- Food service supervisory work experience.
- Coursework in business, dietetics, culinary arts, food science,
nutrition, hospitality, hotel, catering, restaurant, or
institutional management, or a closely related field as measured
by the following conversion table or its proportional
