Job Title: Water Ops Technician
Job Description
As a Water Ops Technician, you will maintain water operations by performing sampling, load outs, and solids handling. You will also manage the supply of hazardous chemicals and operate and monitor various systems, including solids removal screw press and RO system filters. Additionally, you will assist with record keeping and perform general construction, maintenance, and janitorial tasks.
Responsibilities
Maintain water operations by performing sampling, load outs, and solids handling.
Manage supply of hazardous chemicals such as acid, caustic, urea, chlorine, polymer, coagulant, anti-scalants, anti-corrosives, steam-line treatments, and anti-foam.
Operate and monitor solids removal screw press.
Monitor and maintain RO system filters.
Monitor and maintain wastewater MBR modules, including weekly back-flush.
Assist with record keeping using checklists and basic excel programs.
Handle heavy, wet spent grain and lift construction materials such as pipe, steel, and wood.
Perform work on scaffolding, scissor lift, or 30’ tall tank tops, roof top, or tall ladders.
Conduct general construction, maintenance, and janitorial tasks including the use of forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
Perform construction-related tasks such as lifting, carrying, and holding building materials, tools, supplies, and equipment.
Prevent storm water pollution by cleaning around storm sewers and performing general housekeeping.
Recycle construction materials and metal, along with shipping crates and pallets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Essential Skills
Experience in water operations
Experience in wastewater management
Experience in construction or manufacturing
Skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with irrigation systems
Ability to perform general maintenance tasks
Proficiency in using basic excel programs
Experience in operating various lifting equipment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
