Job Title: Plumber
Job Description
Perform plumbing work on commercial new construction projects.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial new construction sites.
Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
Assemble fittings and valves for installation.
Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
Ensure compliance with local and national plumbing codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure a successful project completion.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in plumbing with P1 and P2 certifications.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial new construction plumbing is highly desirable.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment
Work on-site at commercial new construction locations. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the job. The work schedule may vary based on project needs and deadlines.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southport, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $45.00/hr.
