Adecco US, Inc. CNC Lathe Operator 2nd Shift in Fenton, Missouri
Adecco is recruiting for a CNC Lathe Operator 2nd Shift to join an onsite team in Fenton Logistics Park Blvd, Fenton, MO.
THE CANDIDATE WILL TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT, HOWEVER THE ASSIGMENT WILL BE IN 2ND SHIFT
Core Competency Requirements:
Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
Adjusts, trim and fitting parts to close tolerances.
Follows visual aids (standard work) to ensure work is correct.
May perform testing of assembled product.
Make up cartons, print labels, insert protective packing material, seal finishing product.
Meet efficiency rates.
Perform quality checks to ensure quality specifications are met.
Work within all safety guidelines and wear all required PPE (steel toe shoes, hearing protection and
safety glasses).
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor or team leader.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition - 5S.
Must be flexible to rotate job assignments within various work cells.
Performs related duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience in set-up, operated Haas, and experienced in adjusting offsets. (Is not a must)
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ yrs of previous CNC experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
Setup, layout and operate various CNC lathes and/or mills
Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, cutting speeds, depth of cut and determines sequence of operations.
Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder.
Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers or fixtures.
Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds and depth of cut.
Sets up fixture, starts machine.
Requires ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
Observes operation of machine and verifies conformity of machined work piece to specifications.
Keeps work area clean and orderly
Follows all Company rules and safety policies.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
· Ability to add and subtract/basic math.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
· Good hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to lift up to 25lb.
· Ability to stand 90% of shift.
2nd Shift: MONDAY - THURSDAY 2:15PM-12:45AM.
*WILL TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT
Pay Rate: $26.50
PPE and Dress Code: Steel Toe Shoes and Safety Glasses are required at time of interview to properly tour the site.
Pay Details: $26.50 per hour
