Robert Half Warehouse & Operations Manager in Franklin, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Warehouse & Operations Manager in Franklin, Wisconsin. In this vital role, you will be overseeing warehouse operations and workforce management, ensuring smooth running of tasks while maintaining compliance with both company and client standards. You will be the bridge between our team and clients, managing staffing needs and refining operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the reception, shipment, and inventory control to ensure a streamlined workflow in the warehouse.

• Managing the warehouse staff, including responsibilities such as recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling.

• Acting as the first point of contact for warehouse employees for any workplace concerns, performance discussions, and conflict resolution.

• Maintaining a robust relationship with clients, addressing workforce issues and aligning operations with business expectations.

• Supervising and verifying employee time tracking and payroll accuracy to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Taking charge of operations and shipping processes within the warehouse.

• Handling warehouse inventory management and employing warehouse management systems, such as SAP Business Warehouse.

• Addressing employee concerns and ensuring a harmonious working environment. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of three years in operations and warehouse management.

• Mastery of operations, including planning, directing, and coordinating all operational activities.

• Proficiency in shipping operations, including scheduling, tracking, and managing shipments.

• Familiarity with a wide range of warehouse duties such as receiving, loading, and distribution operations.

• Significant experience in warehouse management, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

• Knowledge and experience in warehouse inventory management, ensuring accurate record-keeping and optimal stock levels.

• Proficiency in using SAP Business Warehouse (BW) for data management and reporting.

• Experience in payroll management for a team of under 100 employees, including processing, record-keeping, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
