Description
We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Grant Accountant in Fremont, Ohio. The role calls for a motivated and meticulous individual who will primarily handle customer applications, maintain customer credit records, and manage customer inquiries. The Staff Accountant will also monitor customer accounts and take the necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credits
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions
• Ensure proper allocation and tracking of Journal Entries
• Maintain a solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage general ledger updates
• Perform month-end close activities and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP effectively
• Stay informed about current trends in accounting and finance industry.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing and collections
• Ability to conduct thorough Bank Reconciliations
• Understanding of General Ledger maintenance and management
• Knowledge of Journal Entries creation and editing
• Experience with Month End Close processes and tasks
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks and procedures
• Familiarity with Oracle for financial data management
• Experience with QuickBooks for accounting and bookkeeping tasks
• Knowledge of SAP for financial and accounting data management
