Robert Half Tax Preparer in Garland, Texas
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Garland, Texas. This role is primarily focused on assisting with business tax filings and will be based in a CPA firm.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure tax-related deadlines are met by coordinating with internal team members
• Maintain and manage organized records of clients’ financial and tax information
• Prepare business tax returns, including individual partnerships and state tax returns
• Review all tax filings to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Utilize various accounting software systems to efficiently process client data
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving any customer inquiries
• Manage partnership tax returns and partnership taxation procedures
• Use Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation and data entry tasks
• Handle ADP financial services and CCH Sales Tax software
• Oversee accounting functions and manage allowances and deductibles in corporate tax returns. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx
• Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax
• Proficiency in Drake Tax Software
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
• Understanding of Allowances
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Understanding of Deductible
• Experience with Lacerte Tax Software
• Knowledge of Partnership Tax
• Ability to prepare Partnership Tax Returns
• Understanding of Partnership Taxation
• Experience in preparing Tax Returns
• Ability to prepare Corporate Tax Return
