FJob Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for general labor involving operating heavy machinery, checking the quality of cranes, and inspecting them. The individual will need a basic mechanical background and be willing to learn. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for loading cranes and must have a basic understanding of operating a smartphone for tasks such as iAuditor and some Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment

  • Perform standard maintenance and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment

  • Inspect and check the quality of cranes

  • Load cranes

  • Use an iPhone to upload data from monthly audits

  • Function check cranes, check fluids, and use a grease gun, hand tools, and die grinder

  • Work well with others in a small team environment

  • Work outside in all weather conditions

Essential Skills

  • Heavy equipment operation experience

  • Mechanical experience in standard and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

  • Basic understanding of operating a smartphone

  • Basic knowledge of Excel

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with forklifts and jockey trucks

  • Willingness to learn

  • Punctuality and reliability

  • Comfortable working with hands

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
