Job Summary
As the Assembly Operator, you will assist with building and assembling cable assemblies.
Job Description
We are looking for an Assembly Operator to assist with building and assembling cable assemblies. This role is full-time and is on-site . It is first shift with a 7 am start time, Monday through Friday.
What You'll Do
Assist with to building and assembling cable assemblies
Checking shop schedule for builds to print
Reading build packages
Reviewing application specifications to ensure correct components are being used and standards are met
Review customer drawings for correct pin out
Processing of the cable including cutting, stripping, crimping and assembly
May include soldering of headers or wires to PC Boards
End of Line testing of cable assemblies
Ensure cables meet all the quality requirements
Packaging of cable assemblies
What You'll Need
Required:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Efficient with MS office, Excel
Basic electrical knowledge
Perform soldering tasks with tools to PCBs and wires
Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and calipers
Problem solving skills
Capability to read and understand drawings/prints
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Occasional sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Regularly required to:
Work on powered and non-powered equipment (e.g. forklift, golf cart,pallet jack)
Maneuver packages / material of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
Work from a secured ladder.
Push, pull squat, bend and reach
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds
