Job Title: Assembler
Shifts:
1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm - $17/hr
3rd Shift: 10pm-6am - $18.50/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. This role involves lifting parts up to 50lbs onto an assembly line, with assistance for heavier items. You will follow instructions from a computer screen and use basic hand tools to assemble products. The work can be repetitive but is essential for producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
Lift parts up to 50lbs onto an assembly line.
Use a small hoist for lifting products over 50lbs.
Follow instructions from a computer screen for each assembly step.
Operate basic hand tools such as air rivet guns and battery-powered drills.
Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
Ensure accuracy and quality in the assembly process.
Essential Skills:
Ability to lift 50lbs
Experience in production and assembly
Proficiency in reading blueprints
Mechanical aptitude
Skillful use of tape measures, hand tools, and power tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical assembly
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a repetitive environment
Team player with good communication skills
Work Environment:
The work environment is not air-conditioned but is heated in the winter, maintaining roughly 65 degrees. The building design ensures a comfortable temperature in the summer. You will be working with approximately six other people on your specific line. The dress code includes steel toe shoes, jeans, and a safety vest or high-visibility t-shirt. The shift options are 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Employees have the flexibility to adjust their lunch breaks to leave earlier if preferred. Voluntary overtime is available.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
