Fairview Range is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health leadership team in Hibbing, MN!
The Behavioral Health Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inpatient behavioral health unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves supervising clinical staff, coordinating patient care activities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule: This position is 80 hours two weeks, 8-hour Day shifts. Weekends: As Needed

34 beds between 2 units
Multidisciplinary care team including Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, RNs, LPNs, Unit Assistants, Social Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners.
Patient population: adult (ages 18+)

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing daily operational management
Implementing and developing of standards of practice in patient care that reflect valid research findings
Coordinating patient flow with provider and nursing staff as necessary.
Staffing development; assist in the development and implementation department specific orientation/education/competency programs
Performance Management: work in collaboration with department manager on communicating clear, concise expectations and demonstrates accountability for employee performance by coaching, mentoring and initiating disciplinary action when appropriate.
Completing performance reviews
Promotes and role models teamwork and positive working relationships
Demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve interpersonal and or professional conflicts when dealing with member of the organization.
Assisting in the data analysis in collaboration with department manager when making department changes
Evaluating, developing and revising clinical systems to assure regulatory compliance
Promoting effective labor relations practices and is familiar with union contracts.
Required Qualifications
Current Minnesota RN Licensure.
Current BLS certification or attends BLS class within six months of employment and maintains certification.
Current BCS certification or attains within three months and maintains certification.
At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a setting with behavioral health or psychiatric patients.
