Job Description: As a Lead Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the materials team. This working lead position requires 20% office work and 80% floor work. You will be responsible for supporting the materials team, managing schedules, handling management communications, and providing coverage for vacation and call-outs. Under direct supervision, you will facilitate the receipt, verification, computer transaction, and physical movement of all inventory and non-inventory items within the system work area at the customer site.
Responsibilities:
Physical material movement between Cleanroom Lay Down Area and the System Work Area.
Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory in the System Work Area.
Log material moved in/out of the system work area and hand off to Engineers via computer systems.
Expedite down parts line and urgent material needs to the appropriate work areas.
Coordinate with Engineers to ensure needed items are available for scheduled work for shift.
Log material confirmations via computer systems to account for parts installed, used part returns, unused part returns, and tool returns.
Perform activities related to: Daily Material Staging, Daily Material Returns, and System Work Area Organization.
Physical material movement between system work areas for re-allocation.
Prepare materials to ensure proper identification, packaging, and completeness of items for return.
Interface with SAP Coordinators on completion of daily staging, returns, and material investigations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Read and interpret data, information, and documents.
Observe and respond to people and situations, and interact with others encountered in the course of work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment required.
Experience in a warehouse environment required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate, statistically analyze data and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
Excellent customer service skills, with an understanding of customer relationship building.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and electronic email systems.

Work Environment:
- Physical demands include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, using hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and stretching. Adherence to gowning requirements for extended periods of time in a cleanroom environment is required. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will need to work under deadlines. The environment is generally moderate in temperature and noise level. Responsibilities include periodic travel to regional and overseas sites for product technical support and special support projects. Work may include onsite technical support involving heavy lifting of equipment and modules, and technical work activity in a cleanroom production environment and/or laboratory setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00/yr.
