Description
Our client is looking for a Billing Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing the accurate preparation and submission of invoices through client portals, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with client-specific requirements. This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as experience working with various billing portals and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage portal billing processes, ensuring timely submission of invoices through client-specific platforms.
Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agreed-upon terms and client requirements.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies and assist with reconciling accounts when needed.
Track invoicing statuses in client portals, follow up on unpaid invoices, and generate regular billing reports.
Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to address inquiries regarding billing and payment.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles and reporting.
Requirements

2-4+ years of experience in billing, preferably with a focus on portal billing.
Strong understanding of billing procedures and invoice-to-payment workflows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Familiarity with various electronic billing systems or portals (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar systems) is highly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients professionally and resolve issues tactfully.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
