JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Welder Fabricator will weld/fabricate materials for electrical construction projects at Baer Manufacturing. - Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job. - Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment. - Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area. - Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. - Performs other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding/fabricating including but not limited to wire feed welding (Mig), plasma cutting, grinding, drilling, shearing, and punching. - Experience with tungsten inert gas 9TIG welding on aluminum and stainless materials is preferred. - Understanding of design drawing, principles, and tools necessary for the precise and timely production of assemblies. - Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms. - Understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with a pay range of \$21.37 to \$32.05 per hour, as negotiated under the terms of the agreement.
