Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on various wire twisting machines. You will conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) as needed. The role involves troubleshooting issues with photo sensors, light bars, and other electronics to ensure machinery runs smoothly. Additionally, you will provide emergency repairs of production equipment during production and complete the required documentation. Coordination with Team Leads to perform line changeover activities and assisting in the set-up and assembly of manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on various wire twisting machines.

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) as needed.

  • Troubleshoot issues with photo sensors, light bars, and other electronics to keep machines running.

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and complete required documentation.

  • Coordinate with Team Leads and perform line changeover activities as required.

  • Assist in the set-up and assembly of manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • 2+ years of electrical experience.

  • 1+ years of troubleshooting experience.

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • PLC troubleshooting skills.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance.

  • Experience with injection mold.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Welding experience is a plus.

  • Facilities maintenance experience.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 4:45 pm to 3:15 am, Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays for some lines. This is a clean room environment, which requires gowning up, wearing gloves, and hair covers. The dress code includes no makeup, nail polish, perfume/cologne, acrylic or fake nails, strongly scented lotions, and no holes in jeans. Manufacturing associates may not take cell phones or watches into the Controlled Environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
