Job Title: Lead Commercial Plumber
Job Description
As a Lead Commercial Plumber, you will oversee plumbing installations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with building plans and specifications. You will inspect structures, cut openings, bend pipes, and assemble and install various types of pipes and fittings. Your role will also involve testing systems and maintaining plumbing fixtures.
Responsibilities
Study building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.
Inspect structures to identify obstructions and prevent weakening due to pipe installation.
Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
Bend pipes to required angles using pipe-bending machines or manual methods.
Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes made from various materials, including metals and nonmetals.
Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints.
Test systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to ensure the system is functioning properly.
Maintain plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
Understand all contract documents and specifications.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
