Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

The Construction Laborer performs general laborer duties at various residential, commercial, industrial, and/or civil job site locations, including organizing materials, clean-up duties, and assisting the carpenters. This position works under the direct supervision of the Foreman.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain daily work instructions and determine work to be done.

  • Retrieve supplies and materials for the Carpenters.

  • Assist with performing concrete work set up and disassembly.

  • Keep all materials on the project organized.

  • Assist with prepping and sanding materials for staining/painting.

  • Maintain and clean all power tools, hand tools, and other equipment.

  • Keep job site trailers and supplies organized.

  • Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks/trailers at job sites.

  • Pack materials to specific areas at the construction site as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous construction experience preferred, with a basic understanding of the construction process.

  • Valid driver’s license and/or reliable means of transportation to job site locations.

  • Must provide own basic hand tools.

  • Must be able to interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions in English.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.08 - $26.76/hr.
