Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Ag Retail Division in Kalispell, MT. We are looking for a Customer Account Manager to manage all aspects of creating an excellent customer service experience for current and prospective customers. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and customer service skills, and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Handle phone payments including credit card transactions

  • Assist walk in customers with various inquires and manage inbound and outbound calls daily

  • Ensure proper segregation of duties related to cash handling across multiple business units including propane, agronomy and the farm store

  • Organize, file and attach relevant documents for efficient record keeping

  • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to monthly statements

  • Monitor and respond to daily voicemails across all business units

  • Accurately input and manage customer accounts in Agris for various product purchases

  • Provide support for site specific cardtrol fuel cards including:

  • Ordering & creation of new fuel cards

  • PIN Assistance and troubleshooting Cardtrols

  • Processing replacement fuel cards

  • Managing fuel test cards and invoice corrections

  • Oversee the TEAMs Lockbox email to reconcile customer payments

  • Assist with MyCHS Support questions and direct customers to the appropriate support channels

  • Serve as a primary contact for all locations, triaging customer inquiries to the correct department

  • Handle propane related customer calls particularly during the winter season

  • Create local blanket purchase orders and manage supply ordering from vendors

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 1+ years of experience in Customer Service and Support

  • High School diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work extended hours to meet business demands

  • Abilty to read, write and communicate in Spanish, preferred

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
