We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Architect to join our team and contribute to the development of construction drawings for commercial architecture projects using REVIT. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients and other trades as needed, and occasionally travel for site visits.
Responsibilities
Develop construction drawings for commercial architecture projects using REVIT.
Coordinate with clients and other trades as needed.
Occasionally travel for site visits.
Produce full construction drawing sets independently.
Essential Skills
Full proficiency in REVIT.
Ability to put together full sets of construction documents and floor plans.
Experience in commercial building projects, particularly supermarkets or big box retail.
3-5 years of architectural experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Architecture preferred.
Experience with high-profile clients such as Walmart, CVS, Trader Joe's, and Amazon is advantageous.
Work Environment
The main office is located in Kearny, NJ, with a team of about 20 employees. The firm specializes in commercial projects for high-profile clients, including Walmart, CVS, Trader Joe's, and Amazon. The team consists of project managers and architectural draftsmen, led by the owner and principal architect. The work environment involves handling up to 50 projects at a time, mainly focusing on commercial, retail, supermarkets, and big box stores. The firm is phasing out residential projects due to the high demand on the commercial side.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
