We are looking for someone with:
Degree in Accounting, with strong accounting skillsets
Working experience in financial services sector is an added advantage
Sense of urgency, attention to details, meticulous and able to multi-task
Committed, able to work independently and reliable
Possess a positive attitude, ability to organize, plan and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical, critical thinking and creative with ability to think out-of-the-box
Customer focus and excellent problem-solving skills
Good finance background will be an added advantage to manage project accounting related initiatives
Good writing skills and well verse with Microsoft Office including but not limited to Powerpoint, Excel, Words
On the job you will:
Assist in the strategic planning process to develop long-term strategic plans and short-term operational plans.
Monitor and analyze the performance of business units against strategic goals, and prepare regular management performance reports and dashboards for senior management.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify areas for improvement, recommend corrective actions and support strategic decision-making,
Perform and/or leverage on market/customer research and conduct competitor analysis to identify the trends, gaps and opportunities to drive customer satisfaction, revenue, efficiency, and productivity.
Plan and implement project management strategies, based on templates and toolsets.
Act as project governor to ensuring all projects are executed in compliance with company standards, as well as regulations where applicable.
Develop dashboards, executive summaries, and weekly/monthly reports to monitor project outcomes against KPIs and market dynamics.
Partner with Finance, functional leaders and project managers on end-to-end budgeting cycle including planning, actual utilization tracking, forecasting, accruals provision and support in project prioritization assessment.
Liaise with regional team to align on the portfolio reporting, implementation of new guidelines, etc.
Gather and analyze project data to identify areas of improvement and resolve any time-related or budgetary snags.
Act as secretary to coordinate steering committee(s) or council meeting(s), prepare meeting minutes and follow-up follow-through on action items arising.
