Our client, a leading out-patient cardiology provider, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team, playing a crucial role in enhancing patient care. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent customer service etiquette, and a strong attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Lady Lake, FL
Pay Range: $20 per hour
What's the Job?
Room patients and take vital signs
Enter information into EMR while in the room with physicians
Update EMR notes and maintain accurate patient charts
Coordinate patient care with hospitals, labs, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers
Assist with insurance authorizations and scheduling follow-up appointments
What's Needed?
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Minimum 2 years experience working cardiology
Experience working with multi-provider practice
Ability to perform manual blood pressure readings
Outstanding interpersonal skills with excellent phone and customer service etiquette
